Colormate has introduced a new line with the college student in mind: comfy bedding made especially for dorm rooms at a college-student price. Colormate bedding can be found at Sears (www.sears.com) or Kmart (www.kmart.com). The comforters are soft polyester and come in twin XL (to fit the irregularly-shaped dorm beds) and full/queen. The comforters come in plaids, flower designs, solid colors, and stripes for girls and guys. Each comforter is packaged with one matching pillow sham and can be machine washed cold and tumbled dry. Added surprise: both the sham and the comforter are reversible, usually with a pattern on one side and a solid color on the other! The comforters are also packaged in reusable zipper-up plastic for easy travel between the dorm and home (and they fit easily into a loaded car).
The Colormate extra long twin sheets also work great in a dorm. They are packaged just like the comforters and include a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, and a pillow case. The fabric is a soft cotton and polyester blend (also can be washed machine cold and tumbled dry).
The comforters and sheets feel super soft and comfy, are packaged compactly and easily for travel, are easy to take care of, and are designed especially for college dorms.
Aside: also check out the Essential Home jersey sheet sets made for Kmart. They are luxuriously soft, come in simple colors, and the outer packaging doubles as a cotton laundry bag with a drawstring! Twin XL is available for dorm beds and the package comes with one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, and a standard-size pillow case.
Mom Central received a Colormate comforter, a Colormate sheet set, and an Essential Home jersey sheet set for this post courtesy of Sears ad Kmart.
